Useful For
Aids as a prognostic markers for cancer patients treated with epidermal growth factor receptor-targeted therapies. The mutations screened for are codon 12 and codon 13 of exon 2 and codon 61 of exon 3 of the KRAS gene. Auto reflex of the BRAF Val600Glu mutation when KRAS mutations are not detected.
