Specimen Type: CSF and Stool specimens – consult with NUH Microbiologist before sending.

Unacceptable Condition
1) Hard bone specimen
2) Swab specimens- These have low amounts of material
3) For NUH patients with previously reported positive MTMOL results
sent within 2 weeks, sample will be rejected.
