Specimen Requirements

Submit one of the following

Preferred
White sterile container

Specimen Type: Tissues, biopsy, bone. Specify the source of specimen.
Container/Tube: Sterile screw-capped container
Volume: As much as possible.

Collection Instructions: Please refer to Anaerobic Culture (for suitability of samples for anaerobic culture).

Place tissue for culture aseptically into container WITHOUT fixative or other additives.
