The FilmArray® Meningitis/Encephalitis (ME) Panel tests cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) for the 14 most common pathogens responsible for community acquired meningitis or encephalitis including viruses, bacteria and yeast. The detectable pathogen types are listed as follows:
