Specimen Requirements
Specimen Type: Automatic Endoscope Reprocessors (AER) water, Endoscope flush fluid
Container/Tube: Sterile screw-capped container
Volume: AER collection: at least 200.0 mL
Endoscope flush fluid: 50.0 – 200.0 mL
Minimum volume: 50.0 mL
Collection Instructions: As described in The National Infection Prevention and Control Guidelines for Endoscopy Centres 2023.

No bacterial growth after 7 days' incubation.
Sterility satisfactory.
