Container/Tube: Grey Top (Sodium Fluoride/Potassium Oxalate)
Volume: 4.5 mL
Minimum Volume: 0.5 mL plasma
Collection Instructions: Fast patient 10-12 hours before sample collection. Mix specimen well to avoid clotting. Centrifuge within 2 hrs.

Container/Tube: Gold Top (SSTII) / Green Top (Li Heparin/PST)
Volume: 5.0 mL / 4.5 mL
Minimum Volume: 0.5 mL serum/plasma
Collection Instructions: Fast patient 10-12 hours before sample collection. Allow specimen to clot for 30 mins and centrifuge within 2 hrs.
