Specimen type: Whole Blood (in Purple Top EDTA tube)

Volume: 3.0 - 6.0 mL

Storage/transport requirements: Ambient or Refrigerated

 

Specimen type: Tissue (Umbilical cord, chorionic villi (CVS), tissue biopsies, products of conception (POC)) sent in Sterile Container with transport medium provided by Laboratory (10.0 mL)

Volume: For CVS and POC, minimum 20 mg. For all other tissue types, 10 - 25 mg.

Storage/transport requirements: Ambient or Refrigerated

 

Specimen type: Hair follicles (with bulbs intact) in Sterile Container

Volume: Minimum 20 hair follicles
