Important Note

For External Clients

Please ensure that sample is clotted at 37°C and serum is separated at 37°C. To provide primary collection tube. Ensure that sample reaches NUH Referral Lab before 5pm Monday to Friday. Sample must be collected and sent on the same day.

Collection Instructions:

Collect blood in pre-warmed tube and keep at 37°C. To call BTS at 6772 2305 to arrange for 37°C transport container collection. Once sample is taken, to keep in 37°C transport container before reaching the lab. 

Send specimen to the Laboratory immediately. Transport container cannot be sent via pneumatic tube, please arrange for samples to be sent to lab by hand once collected.
