Specimen Requirements

For pre-transplant (Recipient):


Specimen Type: Whole Blood or Bone Marrow Aspirate
Container/Tube: Lavender Top (EDTA)
Specimen Volume: 3.0 mL (at least 1.0 mL for bone marrow aspirate)

 

For pre-transplant (Donor):

Submit only one of the following:
 

Specimen Type: Whole Blood
Container/Tube: Lavender Top (EDTA)
Specimen Volume: 3.0 mL

 

Specimen Type: Cord Blood

Container/Tube: Lavender Top (EDTA)

Specimen Volume: 1.0 mL

 

For post-transplant (Recipient):


Specimen Type: Whole Blood or Bone Marrow Aspirate
Container/Tube: Lavender Top (EDTA)
Specimen Volume: 3.0 mL (at least 1.0 mL for bone marrow aspirate)
