Aids in investigation of acquired thromobotic tendency and in autoimmune disorders, e.g. Antiphospholipid syndrome, systemic lupus erythematosus. The presence of B2GPI antibodies can be used to aid in diagnosis of antiphospholipid syndrome in conjuction with clinical findings and other laboratory tests.
