Useful For
Aids in diagnosis of invasive aspergillosis in immunocompromised individuals.
This assay detects and differentiates A. fumigatus, A. terreus, A. flavus, as well as a pan-Aspergillus target for detection of other clinically relevant Aspergillus species.
Detection of only the pan-Aspergillus target will be reported as ‘Aspergillus spp. detected (species not resolved). The presence of A. fumigatus, A. flavus, and A. terreus should not be ruled out
