Volume: 6.0 mL, 0.5 mL (Microtainer) / 5.0 mL
Minimum Volume: 1.0 mL serum (Please send at least 3 full Microtainer)


Specimen Type: BAL (ASGB), CSF (ASGC)
Container/Tube: Sterile, screw-capped container

Volume: 2.0 mL

Minimum Volume: 1.0 mL

Specimen Stability

Ambient Submit sample to lab immediately
Refrigerate 2 days

Sample must reach Microbiology Laboratory by 9 am on test day for result to be available on the same day.
