Specimen Type: Serum
Container/Tube: Gold Top (SSTII)
Volume: 5.0mL
Minimum Volume: 0.5mL serum
Collection Instructions: Collection Time: Route: Intravenous / Intramuscular
Peak: 30 min – 1 hr after infusion / After 1 hour intramuscular dose
Once daily dosing: Refer to in-house guidelines or pharmacist’s TDM input
Allow specimen to clot for 30 minutes and centrifuge within 2 hours.

Minimum Volume: 0.5mL plasma

Once daily dosing: Refer to in-house guidelines or pharmacist’s TDM input
Centrifuge within 2 hours.
