Specimen Type: 24 hours Urine
Container/Tube: The following types of 24hr urine containers are acceptable:
- No preservatives, or
- 3g Thymol
Volume: 4000mL
Minimum Volume: 20mL
Collection Instructions: Collect urine in 24-hour urine container. Refrigerate sample during collection if preservative is not used. Avoid strenuous exercise 1 week before and during sample collection.
